Don’t let the blonde hair, southern accent and short stature fool you. I am a hard-working, thoughtful, witty and passionate creative — and I’m pretty good at what I do.

I was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina where I attended the College of Design at North Carolina State University. Since then I have worked across a variety of industries and have seen how design and creativity can be used to increase sales, attract consumers and make beautiful and thought-provoking branded content.

I am a natural-born leader with experience in managing a successful and creative team. Ensuring that all creative solutions are examined and pushing my team for assets and content that is brand appropriate and pushes the brand forward.

My Style

I am honest, fair and inclusive in my management style. I like to challenge my team to explore multiple possibilities of a concept and to never settle on something because it is the easy way out. I believe that hard work, creativity and being proactive are the pillars in which successful teams are built on and I strive to lead teams that are flexible, innovative and smart. I am a creative leader who involves all the appropriate stakeholders in the project early on, and from this I have seen better results, collaboration and team alignment.

While my design style is constantly evolving, I enjoy a clean, modern approach and truly appreciate white space. I have never been afraid of color, and use a lot of it. Helvetica Neue OR Gotham are my go-to typefaces, but I love a good slab-serif. I like to show my wit and humor whenever I can incorporate it into my design.
