LITTLEST PET SHOP

During my year contract on the Littlest Pet Shop team I had the opportunity to work on the overhaul of the brand and worked closely with Senior Designers to bring excitement and spunk into the branding.

The overarching new brand was energetic, quirky and prompted storytelling. Using icons and illustrations on packaging to speak to the product, the consumer was prompted with a story to begin their play with the product.

Along with helping to develop the brand, I also helped develop a Brand style guide and a Brand Asset Guide. 

 


COLOR DEVELOPMENT

Because LPS is a collectable brand, categories were determined by the product design team to help the consumer in the search for new pets to add to their collection. I developed a color coding and icon system for packaging, online and retail for the consumer to better visualize the different categories.

 

PATTERN DEVELOPMENT

I designed the textured background that is featured on all LPS assets, it speaks to the energy and quirkiness of the new branding. I also developed storytelling patterns to appear on packaging and other brand assets.
