HASBRO // PACKAGING DESIGN

LITTLEST PET SHOP

OLD BRANDING

Because the Littlest Pet Shop brand was experiencing a rebrand at the time of my year-long contract, you will see several different packaging types.

Tasks included:

  • Package layout and design
  • Cross-sell development and design
  • Product packout design and layout
  • Art direction of photoshoots with photographer and Co-Op/Intern for on-pack and presentation imagery
  • Comp production and assembling
  • Working closely with all team members (marketing, copywriting, engineering, branding, project manager, product designer, etc.) to ensure item deadlines were met and the final package exceeded expectations
  • Supervising the schedule and development of EU packaging adaptations.

NEW BRANDING

While designing and determining the new brand, myself and the Senior Designer designed what the new branding would look like on packaging at different price points and how the entire assortment would look on shelf.

We devised a hierarchy plan that used different patterns and storytelling elements from the product to continue the story onto the package.

Ultimately the team decided on a consistent color across all price points and items and I developed a color coding method for the consumer to know what 'Season' of LPS they were collecting in.
